End of the Trail in Oregon City, Or had some top teams and players that showed out. There were games I missed but these were some of the top teams I was able to get footage on. On Day 2 the game to see was NorCalSparks vs Team Concept, the gym was packed, the game was close and everyone was “On” for NorCalSparks. Chaya Durr was hitting from inside and out, Erika Bean and Zonyia Cormier were knocking down shots, Simone Sheppard was doing work around the paint, and Bri Moore dished out dimes and knocked down some shots. For Team Concept the Main person that played all 5 position in this game was Jaime Nared. She moved from post, to guard, to foward etc looking to create for herself and dish to teammates such as Bendu Yeaney, Tyschal Blake, and Emily Bailey.
Throughout the tournament Cal Stars, Sandpipers, Cal Swish and NW Blazers came with it. NW Blazers has so much size, scorers, and talent and Brittany McPhee, Chandler Smith, and Nike McClure did damage! For the Cal Stars the whole team plays together and gets buckets, Sabrina Ionescu, Mariya Moore, Geanna Summers, Breanna Alford, and Quinci Mann. The Sandpipers also has a nice team all around with nice guards such as Hannah Caudill, Laura Stockton, and Otiona Gildon. Cal Swish had Courtney Ekmark and Dominique Wheatley who stepped up big time in the game against the Sandpipers.
JBS also did well, if you haven’t seen them they have some solid players in Josetta Fatuesi, Charise Holloway, and Mandy Coleman.
Notable Mentions on players who stood out were Kelli Hayes of the San Jose Cagers, Addi Walters and Sydney Raggio for SF Eagles, EDH Cyclones Saraya Smith, Clubsport Loren Lassiter, Cal Swish Reile Richardson, Tiara Tucker and Aarion McDonald for Stockton Mustangs, Aliceah Hernadez, Madison Witcher, and Courtesy Clark Nor Cal Sparks. Be sure to watch Kat Tudor, Sierra Smith, Mi’Cole Cayton, and the whole Stockton Mavs squad they have a young team with talent.
