Bishop O'Dowd Gets The Dub in OT Against St. Mary's

St. Mary’s vs Bishop O’Dowd, a BIG TIME match up in Northern California! A crazy and intense game, especially in the 4th qtr. St. Mary’s came out blazing hot, you almost felt a little worried for Bishop O’Dowd. I do know that if you start off hot, it’s very difficult to maintain it for 4 quarters. But just when you think BOD dug themselves in a whole, they make a run for it. Somehow shots started falling their way, and with several defensive stops, they were on top and took the lead at half. Long story short, the game went into overtime and went back and forth, Gabby Green hit a 3 to put St. Mary’s up by 1 and Asha Thomas came down with 10 secs left and hit a floater, Game Over! BOD wins 70 to 68. It was a group effort from Bishop O’Dowd that got them the win, Aisia Robertson went off, Alex Kalmbach, Loren Lassiter, Shoshana Merriman, and Myah Pace all contributed and got buckets. Big ups to St. Mary’s as well the whole team started off hot from Taylor Berry, Layla Harvey, Zavanna Negron, Tiara Chinn, and of course Gabby Green and Mikayla Cowling. Gabby was still getting buckets despite cramping up in her foot!
