Salesian & Miramonte, On To The Next Round!

All or nothing is what it comes down to in order for teams to stay alive to make it to State. A lot of teams across California dropped like flies on Tuesday. No one wants to go fishing but someone has to lose. What seems like the 100th time this season Salesian and St. Mary’s Berkeley matched up and Salesian came up victorious 61-42.The Moore sisters had a field day as they were in double figures, Minyon “Baby Moore” had 15, Mariya Moore with 21, and Kian McNair had a solid game as well. Only two players in double figures for St. Mary’s, Mikayla Cowling with 18 and Ma’Ane Mosley with 10.

On the other side of town Miramonte and Carondelet went into a SHOWDOWN! Back and forth action packed game that was close the whole way thru. In the end Miramonte pulled it off 92-87. Miramonte players in double figures, Sabrina Ionescu with 35, Mariah Seals with 21. Carondelet players in double figures Natalie Romeo with 20, Gabby Grupalo with 15, Makenzie Cast with 21, and Christina Chenault with 12.

To all the Seniors it was a pleasure watching you overtime and seeing you grow and get better each year. You definitely put on a Show and WoWed us everytime you stepped on the court. Glad to have witnessed greatness in the making #SALUTE
