Colorado Showcase

Ball-Hard and Joe Gudino put on the Colorado Middle School Showcase in Erie, Colorado. There was definitely some unseen talent in the building and glad we got to see it.

Deb Altshuler 2022– Hustle player, does the little things, grabs rebounds, gets back on defense, played well on offense, got to the basket and knocked down the mid-range shot. Needs to continue to work on ball handling.

Kilah Freelon 2022– Handled the ball well, active hands on defense, ran the floor well, good understanding of the game, played hard and gave her best.

Madisen Rohr 2021– Has good court vision, made good passes, has a nice pull up jumper, physical, and attacks the basket. Played very well with a solid skill set.

Alexis Garcia 2021– She can shoot the ball very well and consistently. Impressed with her all around game. Attacked the basket, finished at the rim, handle the ball, made good passes. She can definitely score.

Juliette Wikoff 2021– Is good at her go to move, the step back. Knocks it down from mid-range to outside. Has active hands on defense and has good court vision. Played hard and did well.

Cameron McMichael 2022– Ran the floor well, active on both ends of the floor, involved in the plays, did the little things. Played hard and did well.

Cecilia Aanerud 2022– Has very good size and length with versatility. Made very good passes, solid court awareness, and finishes on the offensive end. Has a lot of potential with her skill set.

Genevieve Gudino 2021– Good leader on the court that talks, handles the ball, makes good passes, unselfish player that gets her team involved. Can shoot and get to the basket, physical player with a lot of potential.

Aaliyahna Derrell 2021– Good athleticism and quickness, can shoot it from outside, gets steals, active PG with a good motor, and has a nice assist game. Handles the ball very well.

Mikenzie Jones 2022– Very strong, physical and aggressive player. Has very good size and length, coordinated with good hands, runs the floor well. Goes up strong and can step outside to shoot it. Has a lot of potential.

Sam Hernandez 2022– Did well handling the ball, active hands on defense, physical, not afraid of contact. Solid I.Q for the game and did a good job.

Tiana Davis 2023– Young and can play both ends equally well. She gets steals, runs the offense, solid skill set. Can score from outside and attacks the basket. She’s a scorer that gets it done and makes things happen. A definite player to look out for.

Harlie Medrano 2022– Good size and length, more of a forward player that can shoot it. Has good hands and a solid skill set. Needs to continue to be aggressive and work on ball handling. Played well and hustled.

Bryn Durrill 2021– Handled the ball through traffic, got to the basket, and finished with contact. Made good passes, good I.Q for the game and played aggressive.

Anna Hefner 2021– Good size and hands, finishes around the basket, physical and goes up strong. Active on the boards, runs the floor. Good I.Q, gets it done on the offensive end. Has potential at the next level.

Mariana Santistevan 2023 – Small but tough and came to play. Was involved in the play, didn’t back down. She was aggressive and played hard, handles the ball well. Can’t wait to see how she continues to develop.

Juliana Garcia 2022– Player that did the little things. Stayed involved and engaged in  the play, got back on defense, has active hands and grabbed rebounds. Played hard.

Grace Moyers 2022– Runs the PG position very well, pass first player that gets everyone involved. She’s the floor, makes good passes and good decisions with the ball. Will score if its open. Handles the ball well.

Grace Helzer 2023– Has a good motor and played hard on both ends of the floor. Stayed involved in the play, didn’t back down. She was aggressive and physical. Has potential and can’t wait to see how she continues to improve on her game.

Erica Pickering 2022-Active on both ends of the floor, ran the floor well, involved in the plays, did the little things. Played hard and did well.

Rachel Noble 2022– Can handle the ball, active hands on defense, physical, not afraid of contact. Good understanding of the game and did a good job.

Hallie Berringer 2023– Young but did a good job of being involved and active on the court. Didn’t quit or shy away from contact. Held her own and hustled, and she did well.

Ava Welty 2022– Good skill set, has nice moves, can knock down the jumper off the dribble. Handles the ball and has good court awareness. Hustled and played hard.

Hannah Chavez 2021– Good size and hands, banged in the paint, wasn’t afraid of contact. Has some nice footwork down low and went up strong. Missed her plays but she played well. Needs to continue to work on her shooting. Will be playing the guard/forward position.

Savanna Staff 2023– Aggressive player that has good moves. Attacks the basket, not afraid of the bigger player. Can shoot from outside or the mid-range. Played hard and hustled. Handles the ball well.

Jennifer Altshuler 2024– Small but tough, don’t be fooled by the size, she came to compete. Had a nice mid-range shot, was involved in the play, didn’t back down. She was aggressive and played hard. Can’t wait to see how she continues to develop.

Lauren Davis 2021– Involved in the plays, ran the floor, got back on defense, and grabbed rebounds. Played hard and did her best.

Brianna Wells 2021– Quick, athletic, fast PG that plays very good defense. Gets steals, will take it coast to coast. Can get to the basket and finish at the room, handles the ball well, and makes good passes. Needs to continue to work on shooting.

Samantha Shaw 2021– Active on both ends of the floor, stayed involved in the play, grabbed rebounds, made good passes, finished at the basket. Hustle player that plays hard.

Kenlee Durrill 2023– Tough as well that didn’t shy away from contact. Played aggressive, got to the basket, and finished at the rim. Good I.Q with a solid skill set for being so young. Has a lot of potential if she continues to work.

Edie Morrow 2022-Good court vision, made nice passes, got back on defense, active on both ends. Was able to get some steals, and active on grabbing some rebounds. Ran the floor, moved without the ball to get open. Had a solid performance.

Marissa Amparan 2021– Hustle player that did the little things. Involved in the plays, got back on defense, and grabbed rebounds. Played hard and ran the floor well.

Christine D’Epagnier 2023– Has a good motor and played hard on both ends of the floor. Stayed involved in the play. She was aggressive and played her best. Can’t wait to see how she continues to improve on her game.
