Several new players that caught our attention from the Stockton, Ca location. Players definitely competed and played a lot of minutes to showcase their abilities. Brooke Aberle, 2019, forward, 5-9, Lodi HS- Tall strong wing shooter can consistently drain the three, nice lefty floater, great form and release point. Perimeter threat.
Veronica McGee, 2020, guard, 5-7, John Swett- Strong ball handler has a nice step back jumper, can score in bunches. Picks up on defense, physical and aggressive player.
Ana Lu Cabuena, 2021, forward, 6-0, Lincoln HS- Vocal player, long, and lean, can defend, and gets in transition well. Good timing when blocking shots, runs the floor, active on both ends.
Jordan Hayter, 2021, guard, 5-7, Sierra HS- Strong and fast can finish well at the rim, moves without the ball, pushes the tempo, see’s the floor, makes good passes to the open teammate. Not afraid of contact.
Isabella Mauricio, 2021, point guard, 5-4, Amador Valley- Feisty shooting guard, very explosive, and can finish, good on ball defender. A spark of energy, plays hard, nice mid-range jumper, and can attack the open lane.
Marissa Serano, 2020, guard, 5-3, Manteca- True PG skill set with a scorers mentality, floor general with a good perimeter shot. Active on defense was able to get her hands on a few steals.
Aaliyah Moore, 2020, forward, 6-0, Heritage- Strong stretch 3 type, big body that can bang or finesse you, strong weak side rebounder, works well in the paint. Attacks the open lane and finishes at the rim. Needs to continue to get stronger.
Rose Morse, 2021, guard, 5-8- Patient shooting guard, improved as far as being more aggressive on the offensive end. moves well around the perimeter, good motor, nice moves, creates space to get her shot off, shoots it well.
Kaya Toor, 2018, guard, 5-7, Cal Stars- Shooting guard likes to push the tempo, can score in transition, runs the floor well, good basketball instincts. Hard working player that would be a good pick up for a smaller program.
Sheridan Payne, 2020, guard, 5-8, Top Flight- Likes to shoot it from deep, runs the floor well, spot up shooter. Made some very good plays who stood out. Has a nice assist game and distributes the ball well.
Jalani Battle, 2021, forward, 5-8, Heritage- Can see the floor well from the block, good passer from inside, moves well. Active on the boards, clean up crew and grabbed several put backs. Hustle player that you need on the team, does the little things. Needs to continue to expand her game.
Trudi Hartman, 2019, point guard, 5-7, Liberty HS- Can penetrate the paint, uses both hands well, a facilitator that can score. Plays the passing lanes, has some good moves when driving to the basket.
Victoria Houston, 2021, guard, 5-6, Hayward- Strong body type, can be combo guard, has quick first step, and tenacious defender, plays hard. Needs to continue to work on shooting game.
Jazlyn Barron, 2020, point guard, 5-7, Atwater- Plays well off contact, can really get to the rim, good ball and body control.
Sydney Smith, 2020, guard, 5-9, Pitman HS- Nice mid-range game, see’s the floor well, can defend and gets in transition, plays both ends of the floor well. Needs to continue to tighten up the ball handling and outside shot.
Dominique White, 2020, guard, 5-8, Modesto Magic- Runs the floor well, and can mix it up on the boards, smart defender, was able to finish at the basket with contact, good body control.
Jordan Goodwin, 2020, poiint guard, 5-7, JBS- Strong ball handler, solid point guard that see’s the floor well, attacks the middle strong. Very physical and aggressive player. Will attack the basket when its open, plays the passing lane, a definite player to look out for.
Sofia Andres, 2019, guard, 5-7, Stanco Stampede- Good defender, moves well without the ball, smart player, high I.Q., can get to the basket and finish at the rim, active on both ends of the floor, gets out and runs the lane on a fast break. Hustle player to look for this summer.
Kimora Smith, 2021, forward, 5-7, Kimball HS- Can play 1-3, strong body type, fast, and energetic, nice mid-range game. Physical player that played very well.
Destiny DeBoe, 2020, forward, 5-8- Athletic 2 guard that can be a perimeter threat, good perimeter defender. Played both ends of the floor, active, good high energy player.
Mary Cotton, 2019, guard, 5-10, Lathrop HS- Long wing span, very athletic, runs the floor well, nice mid-range game, gets her hands on block shots, can handle the ball and put it on the floor, good court vision, a for sure D1 player to look for.
Vanessa Cochrane, 2018, guard, 5-8- Still available, a solid player to pick up. She has great court vision, can play 1 or 2 guard, good outside shot, hustles. Smart player that knows what to do with the ball.
Nailah Dillard, 2019, guard, 5-8, West Coast Premier- Plays with a nice uptempo pace, strong ball handler with a nice pull up jumper, has an explosive drive but finishes with finesse, excellent defender, good court vision, will drop it off to the open defender. A player to watch this summer!
Rachel Harvey, 2020, point guard, 5-6, St. Ignatius- Fundamentally sound, very quick off the dribble, plays in a different gear, strong leadership qualities, can score from anywhere on the court, and makes teammates better. Knows how to make plays. A definite D1 player to look for this summer.
