Game Time Showcase in Northern California brought out some new faces and new talent. Project Basketball put the girls to work on some much needed skills work, so hope they take these drills and continue to practice, practice, practice! There were several players that stood out, did well, and deserve some shine. Special Thanks to NSR, Nor Cal Courts and Project Basketball

NSR’s Stacey Harris Report:
Gabi Bade 5’8” 2015 PG/2 Guard Pinewood High. Very quick on the dribble, great court vision and has unlimited shooting range. Aggressive defender needs to play with more control. Definite upside in a uptempo attacking style.
Mia Maglinte 5’10” 2014 F/Wing Del Oro High. Good motor and really good feet finishes very well around the basket and has a soft touch. Rebounds well and can get after it on the defensive end. Her strength is filling lanes on breaks and picking up offensive rebounds and put backs.
Ashley Ewing 5’11” F 2014 Campolindo High. Strong post and face up player very athletic needs to be more aggressive around the hoop and use her body more. Has guard skills that can be an asset in developing her mid-range game. Can definitely shoot which is a strong asset to a college program.
Caitlin Mazzoleni 5’11” F Davis High. Good mid-range shooter that can face up well and drop the 15 footer runs the floor well and is a physical player. Needs to work on her ball handling and fundamentals can be a top player in her class.
Naje’ Murray 2017 G St Mary’s Stockton. Has good upside penetrates well and see’s the floor needs to work on a runner or floater as she gets into trouble when she runs into bigs. Needs to work on using her hands more and tempo, she will be a good college prospect if she continues to work.
Alyssa Lorenzo 2015 5’8” G Valley Christian Dublin. Top 5 player at this event very strong on the dribble good range on her jump shot and a tenacious defender. Can drive with either hand and uses body well when finishing.
Victoria Peleras 5’5 G 2014 College Park. Needs to attack more, she finished with a nice move on a break away steal. A definite physical player that is not afraid of contact.
Maddy Kim 2015 5’7” G Menlo Atherton. Smart player can play point or shooting good leadership skills and runs the floor well good mid-range shooter and plays good on ball defense.
Brittney Deadwilder 2015 5’8” PG/G James Logan High. Smooth and aggressive player. Top 5 player at this event she is long and has good fundamentals on the court plays under control and has a tremendous upside if she puts in the work. Player to watch!!
Amelia Schmarzo 5’7” 2017 G Palo Alto High. Best perimeter shooter at the event. Shoots under control and is very consistent. Needs to work on her dribbling skills and overall defensive fundamentals. Player to watch…Don’t leave her open!
Sierra Smith 5’5 2017 PG St. Mary’s Stockton. Attacks the rim, has great court vision, not afraid of contact and very physical on defense. Made some very impressive moves on offense, a player to watch in the future if she keeps working on her all around game and shot.
Ayida Peters 6’0” F/C 2015 Kimball High. Athletic Big! Dominated at this event runs the floor very well definitely a good prospect needs some work on her fundamentals. She finishes well and has a good motor. She will be a great asset to a college program!
Aubrie Wall 5’3’ PG 2015 Foothill High. Dynamic point guard very small but quick “gym-rat” very determined to getting better and to be the best. Huge heart and desire level makes others better. Quick release on her shot and has good range. Needs to get stronger to take the pounding and getting away from bigger players. Love her energy!
Mi Cole Cayton 5’8”PG 2016 St. Mary’s Stockton. Good point guard very aggressive and see’s the floor well dribbles well on either side and decent jumper needs to work on not over-penetrating and getting in to deep. like her intensity, runs and reads the floor. Should be a top player in her recruiting class.
Skylar Burris 5’10” F 2017 Palo Alto High. Good rebounder runs the floor very well. With some work on her basic fundamentals she can develop into a very good post player.
Sydney Raggio 6’0” F St Ignatius High. Strong body type very athletic good finisher around the basket and is a strong rebounder! Tremendous upside and will be a better player with confidence in the paint. She has the tendency to bring the ball down the floor which is good since it shows versatility ”Lefty”
Tiara Banford 5’10” 2016 Newark Memorial Big body and moves very well physical type that can develop into a scoring force if she continues to work on her fundamentals, she handles the ball very well for her size I will continue to watch her development.
Lailoni Gaines 5’10” F Modesto Christian High. She has bounce very athletic and rebounds well needs to work on upper body strength and working in tight space good upside with more post and face up moves. Can be a sleeper between now and next year.
Ashley Lucas 5’2 PG 2015 out of Brookside Christian, small but can score. She really shined and did very well, she dribbles with her head up and see’s the floor very well. Can drive and shoot it and has great confidence. Very surprised at some of the moves she pulled off, impressive.
Adison Walters 5’9 G 2015 St. Ignatius. She can definitely shoot and looks for the open defender with the drive and dish. Could work on a faster release coming off the dribble, has solid ball handling skills, smart , has good size, and reads the defense well.
Natalie LaTour 5’6 G 2016 Modesto Christian. Has good speed, aggressive on defense, reads the defense well and was able to get quite a few steals. Just needs to continue to work on fundamentals dribbling and shooting.
Jordan Morales 5’9 G 2016 Deer Valley. Has a lot of potential, good size, was able to knock down some shots on offense. Needs to continue to work on fundamentals and stay in the gym. Focus on dribbling and shooting.

There will be (high school session) Division 2, 3, NAIA, JUCO College Coach’s and evaluators in attendance (all sessions). This event will be filmed so be sure to show us what you got!!
